Travel Regulations and Reimbursement Processing is for employees who are new to MSU travel policies, procedures, and programs.

A travel processing class for employees who are new to MSU travel policies and reimbursement processing.  The class is designed specifically for those who have been processing university business travel for less than 1 year and will focus on general travel regulations and reimbursement for basic travel scenarios.

 Topics and exercises include: 

  • Travel authorizations
  • Travel regulation policies
  • Per diem calculations
  • Travel reimbursement processing in KFS
  • Cash advances

This course is scheduled from 8:30am-2:30pm; lunch is included.

To register, log in to the EBS Portal, click on the "My Career & Training" tab (top of window), and then click on the "Courses for Employees at MSU" tile.  Next, enter "Regulations" in the search box on the left side of the screen, and click "Find".  Select "Travel Regulations and Reimbursement" and register for one of the sessions. Classes are held in the Nisbet building, Room 10.
