Advanced Travel Policies & Reimbursement

This class is specifically designed for those who have been processing university business travel for more than 1 year, or who desire more in depth knowledge regarding foreign travel reimbursements and more complicated travel scenarios.

Topics and Exercises will include:

  • Fly America Act procedures
  • Travel regulation policies
  • Foreign per diem calculations
  • Foreign currency conversions
  • Complicated/Unusual travel reimbursement processing

Prerequisite:  Travel Policies & Reimbursement or Travel Regulations and Reimbursement Processing

This course is scheduled from 8:30am-2:30pm; lunch is included.

To register, log in to the EBS Portal, click on the "My Career & Training" tab (top of window), and then click on the "Courses for Employees at MSU" tile.  Next, enter "Reimbursement" in the search box on the left side of the screen, and click "Go".  Select "Advanced Travel Policies & Reimbursement" and register for a session. Classes are held in the Nisbet building, Room 10.
